Spring 2026 Auditions

Thank you for your interest in choral singing at Cornell! We will be holding auditions for the Spring 2026 semester on January 18 to 20, 2026. Please fill out this form to indicate your interest and take the first step to sing at Cornell!

(Notice: The Glee Club and Chorus will NOT hold auditions in Spring 2026 to accept new singers. Only the Chorale will be holding auditions)

All auditions will be held in Lincoln Hall, Room 129 with Dr. Yen-Hsiang Nieh. Upon entering Lincoln Hall, find your way to the lobby where you will be greeted by current members of the choirs!

Please prepare 16 bars, or a verse and chorus, of a song of your choice (any genre is fine) to sing without accompaniment. The audition process will also include a short vocal warm-up, pitch-matching exercises, and sight reading. Please arrive 5-10min early to your audition slot to fill out your audition form.
